Who We Are

Broken Arrow Youth Ranch is a family of believers helping other families find hope and healing. Through a private cooperative agreement, we receive children under the age of 18 years, for a minimum of one year. The children experience life on a fully functioning and working ranch. They are nurtured in a positive family atmosphere using faith-based values. Youth are given the opportunity to experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as they learn to love God, love themselves and love others.

Who We Serve

We serve families in a wide variety of situations. For some families it is the parents that are overwhelmed with their own personal issues such as addictions, abuse, major illness, and other destructive patterns. Other families are struggling with the realities of rebellious teens. When families are faced with these circumstances, Broken Arrow Youth Ranch can help.

Our Purpose

Our purpose at Broken Arrow Youth Ranch is to minister to those who are hurting, by showing them God’s unconditional love. We provide children and youth with a safe, loving home. Parents and family members have regular visits where staff facilitate and mentor the family in Christ-like love, empowering them to respond to life with a Godly perspective. This allows the whole family to heal and grow.

Our Program

Our program is designed to meet the needs of each child, student and family. Students participate in caring for ranch animals, our horsemanship program, completing school work, and learning about their true identity in Jesus Christ. Our program is unique in that we work with the whole family; empowering them to change from old, destructive patterns to building healthy, new and loving relationships.

FAMILY RENEWAL CENTRE

- Funds, materials and volunteer labour to complete the third apartment

- Scatter rugs for apartments and carpet runners for downstairs halls

RANCH EQUIPMENT

- Ranch Yard Tractor (80 -110 hp)

- Stock trailer

CATTLE FEED

- 30-33 round hay bales; green feed

- Feed Barley 300-500 bushels - Priced to sell or donation

- Mineral tubs for Range Cows

HORSE FACILITY

- Materials for Tack Room : cement, 2x4's, 2x8's plywood

- Doors for Riding Arena

- Wooden Posts: 1 bundle 4-5" x 6', 1 bundle 6-7" x 8'

RANCH BUILDING MATERIALS

- Low Rib or Vinyl Siding for front of root cellar

- 4 rolls new barbed wire

- 1 bundle of slabs

- 2 loads crushed gravel

You can be a part of our mission at Broken Arrow Youth Ranch in a variety of ways. There are times when the ranch is looking for volunteers to help with specific capital projects, such as our Renewal Center. building materials, supplies, equipment and many various other needs including financial commitments that must be met.
