Families desiring placement and/or parents wishing to place a child or youth in the care of Broken Arrow Youth Ranch will be asked to complete and submit the Placement Application.  Acceptance of applicants is based upon a review of these documents, including a formal visit with the family, space availability and payment plan.

SHOULD PLACEMENT BE GRANTED:

1) Broken Arrow Youth Ranch (BAYR) assumes responsibility for the client's educational, social, physical and medical needs.  (Unless there is a pre-existing medical condition that necessitates special consideration).

2) All medical, educational and social records are to be disclosed so that each individual can be properly assessed and cared for.

3) Since BAYR is a faith-based organization, all under our care will receive biblical instruction, taught to pray, have daily devotions and required to attend church.

4) BAYR is a working Ranch.  As part of the program all clients will learn to interact with and care for a variety of Ranch animals.  These include cows, horses, llamas, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese and others.

5) In the case where a child or teen are under our care, we encourage parents to have regular contact via phone and/or on site visits.

6) BAYR believes that parents and/or guardians need to bear responsibility for cost related to themselves as clients or their child's care and stay at BAYR.  They will be responsible to bear one third (1/3) of their cost, which is prepaid monthly.

7) Adults being admitted or parents of children being admitted will sign an agreement regarding:

     a. Participation and communication with their child/children.

     b. Completion of recovery, treatment and/or personal development programs.
