Who We Are

Broken Arrow Youth Ranch is a family of believers helping other families find hope and healing. Through a private cooperative agreement, we receive children under the age of 18 years, for a minimum of one year. The children experience life on a fully functioning and working ranch. They are nurtured in a positive family atmosphere using faith-based values. Youth are given the opportunity to experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as they learn to love God, love themselves and love others.

Who We Serve

We serve families in a wide variety of situations. For some families it is the parents that are overwhelmed with their own personal issues such as addictions, abuse, major illness, and other destructive patterns. Other families are struggling with the realities of rebellious teens. When families are faced with these circumstances, Broken Arrow Youth Ranch can help.

Our Purpose

Our purpose at Broken Arrow Youth Ranch is to minister to those who are hurting, by showing them God’s unconditional love. We provide children and youth with a safe, loving home. Parents and family members have regular visits where staff facilitate and mentor the family in Christ-like love, empowering them to respond to life with a Godly perspective. This allows the whole family to heal and grow.

Our Program

Our program is designed to meet the needs of each child, student and family. Students participate in caring for ranch animals, our horsemanship program, completing school work, and learning about their true identity in Jesus Christ. Our program is unique in that we work with the whole family; empowering them to change from old, destructive patterns to building healthy, new and loving relationships.

Horsemanship Program Coordinators Cal and Jill Jackson

Cal and Jill reside on a ranch near Limerick, Sk.  Both have been involved with Horsemanship for the past 30 years.  Cal has been involved with 4-H, National and International Showing in the area.  Cal has a B.Sc. Ag., specializing in Animal Science.  They have developed their own  individual program as a result of all of their experiences and training.  Ever since Cal heard  about Broken Arrow, he felt a stirring of connection, as if he was meant to have an involvement  at some point.  Ministry Director, Todd Moroz studied Horsemanship with Cal & Jill, and realized that a Horsemanship Program for the Ranch would be of great benefit.  It has proven to be a powerful and productive experience for the Ranch children and staff.
